Bonus Inbox Coach goodness! šŸŽ‰āœØ

I’m all about saving time in my inbox, so I thought I would share a few hacks to enhance your Gmail efficiency with these five lesser-known settings:

  1. šŸ“© Enable the Updates Tab: Activate the Updates tab to automatically sort transactional emails, such as confirmations and receipts, keeping your primary inbox focused on essential communications.

  2. šŸ”Utilize Quick Filters: Hover over an email's sender name or subject line to access quick filter options, allowing you to swiftly find related messages and maintain an organized inbox.

  3. 🧵Disable Conversation View: Turn off Conversation View to display emails individually rather than as threaded conversations, simplifying navigation and ensuring no message goes unnoticed.

  4. 🚨Reposition the Spam Folder: Drag the Spam folder higher in your label list for easier monitoring, ensuring you don't miss important emails mistakenly marked as spam.

  5. ⭐Implement Multiple Star Types: Customize your stars in Gmail settings to use various symbols (e.g., exclamation points, question marks) for categorizing and prioritizing emails effectively.

These adjustments can streamline your email management, helping you stay organized and responsive.

COACHING TIP
Real Estate Lesson: Overcoming the Ambiguity Effect to Increase

Imagine this scenario:
  • A buyer has to choose between two homes.

  • One is a charming older home that has been well-maintained but needs some updates (clear known outcomes).

  • The other is a newer construction home with cutting-edge design but in an up-and-coming neighborhood (unknown potential and risks).

Most buyers lean toward the first home because they understand what they’re getting—even though the second home could have a higher future value. Why? The Ambiguity Effect.

FINAL THOUGHT
I’ve been grinding NONSTOP, leveling up my systems, and rolling out some next-level stuff.šŸ’Ŗ And let me tell you—this vision I’ve been hammering away at? Watching it come to life? It fires me up like nothing else.šŸ”„

Yeah, I know. I’m wired a little differently.

But it got me thinking about this:
The reason most businesses, even billion-dollar ones, crash and burn isn’t the competition. Nope. It’s because they lose touch with their people.

šŸ“‰ Netflix didn’t kill Blockbuster. Inflated, inflexible, and unnecessary late fees did.
šŸ“‰ Amazon didn’t kill retail. High rent, poor customer service, minimum wage staff, lack of selection, and long lines did.
šŸ“‰ Uber didn’t kill taxis. Government regulation, grumpy overworked drivers, and inflated license schemes did.
šŸ“‰ Airbnb didn’t kill hotels. It was four o’clock check-in times, lack of innovation, and rising prices.

What kills a giant? Forgetting who put you there.
So, how does this hit for you as a real estate agent?

Here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:
šŸ‘‰ You don’t have a ā€œlead problem.ā€
šŸ‘‰ You don’t have a ā€œmarketing problem.ā€
šŸ‘‰ You don’t even have a ā€œmarket shiftā€ problem.

You have a connection problem.

Agents who win? They’re out there solving problems and helping people BEFORE they ask for anything in return.

You want to dominate? Stop sitting around waiting for business to fall in your lap.
Pick up the phone. Knock on the door. Reach out to your sphere.

Be the agent that people remember because you gave a damn.

Now, quit scrolling. Go make a difference today. šŸ‘Š
